How is the updates from oneplus?

Yes, you do have to wait longer for android updates than you would with stock android. However right now the one plus 5 is pretty up to date software wise.

I bought a brand new OnePlus 2 a little over a year ago and now it seems like it will never get 7.x. I am very disappointed.

there's was an article a while back I read about which Android phones have been getting the updates first and OnePlus was on the list along with Google and Blackberry.

Although they're still behind the up to date security updates. OnePlus 5 has May Security Update and there's already July Security update. That's still a lot better and faster than some bigger companies have to offer so far.

They are fast but only on their flagships. The OnePlus 2 was did not get nougat has promised.

As long as it isn't stock android it takes longer to get updates depending on the phone manufacturer due to 'some' tweaks they make but generally oneplus has shown dedication to keeping it up to date
