I'm switching from a Lumia 950 to the OP5T. I have Outlook as my email. On Windows Phone I could see how many new emails I had on the lock screen. There was an envelope icon and a number 3 if I had 3 new emails for example. Very small and unobtrusive. Is there anything like this in Android? Allowing notifications has put them in a banner format across my screen showing part of the email wording. All I want to see is if I have any new ones without having to go all the way in the email app.

    Thanks!

I changed a setting to hide sensitive notification content so that helped a little. I guess I just have to get used to seeing if the notification light is blinking. I didn't have that on Windows Phone so I was used to checking the lock screen for new emails. Just have to change the way I do things.
