Hey guys, I'm been considering trading my v30 for the OnePlus 6T from T-Mobile. I do need to buy it out for 180ish before it is officially mine and I can take advantage of the OnePlus trading offer for 300.

What you guys think, is it worth the upgrade or to trade it in?

It depends on what features on the V30 you really care about. OP does not have a HiFi DAC, headphone jack, expansion storage, or the camera capabilities that the V30 has, but it does have a larger screen, more ram, Android Pi, and faster SOC. If photography or media consumption is important to you, you may find the OP6T lacking in those areas. Not saying it's a bad choice for you, just making sure you understand what's not on the device.

For what it's worth, I replaced my Note 9 with the 6T. The high end camera and S-pen really were not important to me, and so far I'm really enjoying the 6T for the performance and the Oxygen OS.

I went from the v30 to the 6t.

Pros: bigger screen 6.0-6.41(it does youtube HDR) , much more fast in terms of responsiveness, better battery life, way faster charging with oem charger(17%-100%)about an hour it flies. Finger print scanner is legit, face recognition is instant. 300 dollars off if you have a qualifying phone to trade in. Android 9 pie.comes with protecting case and screen protector, usb-c-3.5mm dongle. Wifi has better range.

Cons: no physical 3.5mm jack, speaker quality/volume not as good/loud, camera(s) , only a 1080 full HD/HDR compared to (V30 has quad HD/HDR).No SD slot for memory expansion. I have about 115 GB left after loading all my apps. My felling is the 115 GB won't be enough storage on the long run?

Overall I'm super impressed with the op6t good quality for sure!
