Original Pixel (Gen 1) owner considering the OnePlus 6

Is there anyone here that has switched to the OnePlus 6 from a Pixel phone, gen 1, 2, or even 3?

I currently own the gen 1 pixel and while it has served me well I am considering upgrading to a phone with a bigger screen, good specs, and at a fraction of the price of current flagships out there.

One of the deterring factors for me has been camera quality. While I am not a constant photo taking person I do appreciate the fact that I have the option to take great quality pictures with my current Pixel phone. Can someone clarify if the camera quality of the OnePlus 6 excels that of the original pixel or even pixel 2?

What other trade offs (if any) should I consider if I make the switch? (Aside from fast security updates)

I went from my original Pixel XL to the OnePlus 6t and I loaded the Google camera app and I find that the camera is comparable enough to my original Pixel for my usage. But I also have a Nikon full frame DSLR that I use for important pictures.

I enjoy everything else about the phone so far. I am glad I made the switch.
