I've had this OP6 since launch and am disappointed to see that the charging port seems to be giving out. It still functions, but has become quite finicky; need to make sure the cable is plugged in just so, and have to be careful not to let it slip loose when setting the phone down to charge.
I had the 5 and 5T, but upgraded from them before this had a chance to become an issue. I skipped the 6T so this phone has several more months of use on it.
It's been a few years since I've had a flagship from one of the major manufacturers, so I don't know if failing ports is still just pat for the course? I'm not rough on my phones at all.
How's everyone else's experience been with this? I might still be using my Nexus 6 if the port didn't completely fail lol. At least it had wireless charging to fall back on!
We'll see how the 7P does!
