I don't know what to think of this camera. I took two pics in portrait mode. One with the stock app and one with gcam app in portrait mode. There is really big difference between the two of them.

It looks like the top picture was taken with a dirty lens or something. That's crazy for it to be that hazy looking. Also it appears that the Gcam shot is not relying on the telephoto lens either.

These are pictures from the main camera. One using gcam app. The other is the stock camera app. I like them both but the stock camera apps has the best color accuracy.

Okay here is another comparison in portrait mode after clearing the cache and data in the stock app. The haze is gone in the picture from the stock app, but the g cam photo still looks best. Gcam is first and stock is second.

Ok that looks a lot better but it just looks like it missed focus on the portrait shot.

The gcam is better.

No Miss focus, I took multiple shots and they all came out with that hazy look until I clear cache and deleted data in the app.

Re: OnePlus 7 Pro Picture Thread

I wanted to test the camera of my Op6 vs. the Op7 Pro. One is from the six and the other from the 7

For the most part you have to zoom in considerably to see the difference. I picked this photo because the difference is insignificant. On others taken with the 7 there are sections of the photo where the detail is so far off as to look smeared.

Re: OnePlus 7 Pro Picture Thread

I really love the look of the portrait mode and once they correct the smoothing of details it will be even better. Here are my little two people and me from the front camera. Just need to improve sharpness and exposure.
