7 Pro (Numbered vs T Versions)

Looking at the 7 Pro but was hoping to get your thoughts on a couple things as this will be my first OnePlus phone.

Does OnePlus continue to sell the previous model at a discounted price once the T version is released?

Do the T versions get any "must have" features that would make me regret buying the 7 Pro now?

8gb vs 12gb of RAM: What would you recommend?

Customer Service: If there are any issues with the phone (pop up camera, display, etc) how good is OnePlus customer service?

It's looking like the 7t is more based on the 7 than the 7 pro. it looks like it will have a notch and a flat screen, with more camera options. That's not a bad thing mind you. I'd have gotten the OP7 instead of the pro if it was available in the US. The 7t looks like a no brainer if it is available here.
