So glad you guys are enjoying it! Please post photos taken with your OP 9 phones in the photos thread! We're excited to see them!

Also, please let us know if battery life continues to improve! I'm sure after the initial first few days of set-up are finished, things will be better!

I'm liking mine so far. Haven't had much free time to do much in depth testing, but so far so good. It's gonna take a lot to live up to my Note 20 Ultra.

I got out of my LG V60 early and went to this phone. The fingerprint reader is far superior not to mention this also has excellent facial recognition. My LG and zero facial recognition. I've only had it for about a day and I'm hoping the battery gets better but overall it seems to be a very solid phone. It's too early to give it a real review but so far no real complaints.

Yeah no doubt OnePlus sucks big time with software updates. 9 Pro is also on March security update and pretty sure they absolutely will ignore security updates and do once a quarter or whenever they feel. Honestly they are losing all the appeal. I’m actually contemplating returning the 9 pro, anyway have multiple phones and I’m not reaching out to my 9 pro as often as I’m reaching out to my other phones. So something ain’t right for my liking personally

Yeah I agree , to me they headed in wrong direction lately, that's why I stayed with the 1+7 mclaren and didn't jump to the 8 or 9 just didn't see anything I wanted , I think they do quarterly update which is strange they do that , and software updates getting slower . This a good chance for them to get more sales since LG out in the US but they need to fix some things and price is one of them , I'm still a fan of them.

I also like their phones in general but I think they will struggle trying to compete with Samsung and Apple at $1000 plus price point. When you sell your phone for $1069, my comparisons and expectations also increase

Just my opinion but if one likes the phone then it doesn't matter.

I agree, I think they need to go back to what made them successful.

If they are going to charge those prices they should for sure go back to basics with keeping customers coming back - regular updates being one of them. I thought in the earlier days, OP was better with regular, timely updates?

I've had them since 6 and 7 series and didn't experience timely updates , probably the earlier generation

OP9, TMo... Took a lot of fiddling around with the setup, but I'm pleased with it now.

The camera is pretty good. Battery is just Ok. Very fluid and smooth to use, zero lag. As someone else mentioned, fingerprint reader is great. Happy with display, but the keyboard displays a little tall and squished... It's like the proportions are just a little bit off and I'm still getting a few more mistypes than was was typical - I'm sure that will improve as I become more familiar with it.

It's been a while since I've been immersed in OP Land - was it the 5 or 5T, or even the 3 line, maybe, that had those consistent updates?

Several days in now and the phone is real nice. As far as size goes feels real good in my hand. The phone is REAL slippery so a case is a must.

The only thing I don't like about it is no expandable storage but, with 128gb, that's not a show stopper for me.

How wide and how big is the phone, in référence to your hands? I have small hands so getting a phone like the OP 9 as far as height goes is a little daunting.

I'm not a big guy myself and I love the way this phone fits in my hands. So much nicer than my LG V60.
