You click reboot and it gives you three more options, silly.

You have a cm7 option checked that causes you to not get the prompt.

Click settings>CM settings> Interface.

Then check the top option that says power prompt.

ha!
i figured it out!
under "settings" then "cyanogenmod settings" then "interface"
if the power prompt box isn't checked you get no recovery options or the "3 options" when u hit reboot
i'm really sorry i reported this as a bug, this is my first non froyo rom.
should i delete all those posts i made?

You can test it without calling someone, use an echo number, here's the one I use for testing

trying it now. works great so far. I like a clean lock screen without the carrier but other than that wow!

Yes the thing I've noticed the most is the amazing battery life. I normally figure that when I leave work at 4pm after starting the day with a full charge, I'll be around 70%. Yesterday I was at 86%. Simply amazing!

I used 7zip to open archive and then went into the system/app folder and deleted it. Then dragged the Launcher2.apk from AOSP into that same folder. When you flash the rom it gives you the stock launcher instead of adw. While in there I also delete out apks for other crap I don't use like email, gtalk, all live wallpaper stuff but picker. That kind of stuff I usually remove manually.

Might have to turn off signature verifications in your recovery.

Yeah anything you do to edit things in 7zip will have to have sig turned off to flash. Guess I could have added that in. Oops.

So I'm assuming mms doesn't work due to the fact that I cannot send a message longer than 160 characters.

What happens when you try to send a 160+ message? Doesn't send? Pops up an error? Sends but doesn't receive?
