Latest cm9 comes with Apollo. The new Cyanogenmod music player. I have the .apk on my SD card, but I don't know how to attach files on the Android Central app.

Hmmm ... motivation to get the current code running, right?

I've been waiting for a better music player in cm9. I tried theming the gingerbread one to be ics but lost interest because I'm not on ics.

Good but not stellar results with the new LMK settings. The phone app has not caused a system restart yet and tapatalk performance seems improved. But tapatalk did run out of memory once this evening. My sons are "testing" angry birds right now...

I wouldn't worry about tapatalk that much. It crashes for me all the time and I'm not on ics.

While Apollo doesn't seem to have many advantages over the normal Music, I dig how it looks :3

I think ttpod is by far the best music app that I've ever used. Much better than the cm7 and cm9 music apps. And it plays certain music files that don't play in those other apps.

All three ROMs have the same LMK settings. Is there something in particular that you are looking for in AOKP, or are you asking whether the current code builds (yes), or ...?

LMK = Low Memory Killer. But really, that's not the entire truth. The settings I'm talking about also include Android memory management settings, such as the memory given to foreground and background apps, and such.

Oh, and would anyone mind if vim and nano were removed from CM9? I'm guessing not many folks use these...

Command line text editors. You would use them from a terminal prompt or over adb, etc.

Since there are far easier text editors that would function as actual apps, I highly doubt anyone would mind.
