    Changelog

    11-19-11:

    1. sync'd up with CM: Now at 7.2.0 RC0
    2. Fixed: MMS(Thanks to inmenzo27)

Please don't thank me, instead donate to Blarf for all the great work he has done.

    Enjoy!
I just updated to your latest build and I am unable to send picture messages. Just sits on "sending..." forever. Any ideas?

Definitely is. In fact, even though I'm on Wifi at home, when I send the pic message, I see the 3G icon appear like its trying to send, but it never does.

Try this: Clear data for the Messaging app in Managing Applications. That has fixed the mms issue for me before.

Doing this should NOT delete your messages (they're stored with the Dialer Storage app). But just to be safe, you can back them up first. I use SMS Backup & Restore (free in Market).

    Worth a try.

Maybe it's a VM problem? (data outage or the like)

I'd try on my phone but I have a service outage. And by service outage, I mean I didn't pay my "bill." lol

I was just reading on the bobZhome wiki page that his cm7 rom "needs to have an ext partition on your sd card with my ROM, because Darktremor Apps2SD automatically moves the dalvik to the ext partition. DO THIS WITHIN CLOCKWORKMOD"
Do I just choose the option listed in the cwm menu or are there other steps I need to follow? Also, do I need to reflash the rom? Is it best to create the partition before or after installing the rom?
    BobZhome,
Has the requirement for a separate ext partition on the SD card been removed on your rom installation? I can't find it on the wiki, but it is late right now, maybe I'm just not seeing it.

I figured that's always a possibility. I'll try again later today. Thanks!

Well, everyone is talking about ICS code release but there is another news that CM switched to 7.2.0-RC0 recently which came with a large number changes. I will not go through all those but you can check them here.

Additionally, added BobZhome 3.3 kernel that comes with multitouch improvements, switched to Camera app in BobZhome repo (since the camera app in CM repo is not working in IHO anymore with the latest changes) and added his fix for IHO issue #54. Thank you, Bob, thank you. I have also updated Roboto font with the released ICS source.

I am not uploading this build to the Wiki, since there has been so many changes in the CM repo and there could be other problems in addition to Camera app. I am simply giving the links below for this build to the ones who feel adventurous and would like to help the community. Having said that, this build is working fine on my phone.

    Here are the links:

Please thank Blarf, Bob, and Jerry.
No problems were encountered with this this test build. I just resynced/rebuilt and uploaded to the Wiki as 11202011.

I no longer pre-install Darktremor Apps2SD,so you don't need to have an ext partition.

Latest BobZhome, MMS still not working. Just stays stuck on 'sending...'.

First I restored a Harmonia nandroid to check and MMS worked fine.

Then I flashed BobZhome again after a full wipe, and MMS didn't work. Though this time it seemed to send (didn't get stuck on 'sending...') but nothing is received on he other end. Also cannot receive MMS. Tried with a friend on Sprint and another phone in my house. Neither worked.

    Ideas?

It's a good thing I don't use MMS, so if I do come across this problem, it won't matter lol

I've used google voice for a couple of years now, and so instead of people having two separate numbers for me (gv for SMS, other one for MMS) I just have them send it to my email.

I still have the issue. Tried sending one and no dice. I wiped everything to oblivion before flashing. Never tested receive though. :/

Regarding my mms issue, it's now working. When I first updated to the latest build, I had come from the previous build, and the build before that, all via upgrades without a full wipe. Go somewhere along the line mms got messed up.

When I did the fresh flash of the latest build (with a full wipe), I'm not sure why my first attempt at mms didn't work, but it's working fine now. It could easily have been a hiccup in the virgin mobile network. It wouldn't be the first time.

So, the short version is, mms works just fine in the latest build of BobZhome.
