Mr Jerry quick question in relation to actual backup files (CW backup) is it actually safe to to move that backup file onto my computer for when I actually NEED it. Instead of it just taking up space on my SD card. I have multiple backups from ur rom as well as others and its starting to eat alot of space.
Its a good practice to backup things of that nature to your pc or even dropbox. I have my backups synced to my dropbox account. Then I can delete them from my pc and drop box will remove it from the phone. Pretty nifty.

To answer directly yes you can move any backups to your pc if you want.

So for the people running jerryscript what is ur preferred OC. preference. Ive got my device stable at min-600 max-625. If ur pushing more let me know how stable ur running. And crash problems. Also how is your battery life working out. Thanks guys

    Every phone overclocks differently.
Some can't go over 600, others can run at 864 stable.

BTW, a min of 600 is not a good setting.
You want it at 480 or less (no lower than 240). After 480, the voltage goes up, using more battery.

That makes alot of sense. I will tho continue to test for a lil while longer checking temperatures and drainage and what not. So far its managing well but I'm also On the cautious side lol

I have cautiously inched it up to 245 min, 787 max, using InteractiveX for the governer. I have had no issues with FCs, and the phone is working very nicely.

Running at 245 is fine, but if you play music or use GPS, and you need more than what 245 offers, the phone will spike to max power. This is fine for short bursts, but on longer things like playing music or GPS will heat the phone up and drain the batter.

Most find the sweet spot at 360 or 480.

I've been running at 480/600 w smartass v2 governor... minimal freezes... no random reeboots... although I've got a sneaky suspicion that my freezing issues have something to do with lookout and accuweather running in the background...

I think it was the fact that my phone was really hot that day. And I dropped it. x.x

I started to take the screws out, but then I'm afraid that I wouldn't know how to put it back together, I'm only 13. I'm good with Electronics and what not, just don't wanna break this. Had it for aloooong time. :P

The farthest I've gotten is taking all the screws out and prying open one end (my phone still works) but it snaps together and I don't know exactly where to pry to that the whole thing comes apart.

There isn't much inside, and only a couple layers.

It's mostly body, circuit board and screen.

I'm currently running backside overclocked at 480 min 806 max using an interactive governor. Is this the best governor to be using? Looking to find a nice balance between performance and battery life. Thanks in advance! :-)

I usually run at 122 (or whatever lowest is..) min. 600 max. Conservative governor. Battery lasts around 8 hours of kinda heavy use.. with no performance issues.

If you increase your min, you will get slightly better battery life.

Having your min set to 122/600 means it will almost always be running at 600, and rarely if ever will it be at 122.

This is due to the fact that most background processes require higher than 122 to run, so it ramps up to 600 to perform functions that could have been handled at 480.

I personally run 480/768, and I get right around a day on moderate usage, and from 12-18 hours on heavier usage.

I have uploaded the new build 02172012 to the IHO Wiki after syncing with the CM repo. There are two fixes for notification bar swipe and screen freeze during rotation. Tested on my OV and everything seems to be working fine. Enjoy!

    - Synced with the CM repo and uploaded the new build 02172012.
    - Fix display freeze happening when changing device orientation while screen is off
    - Fix notification swipe handling
    - Several other minor changes.

Thanks to Blarf, Bob, Jerry, LeslieAnn, tdm, thekraven, and the CM team.

Went back to the 1/10 build of mirage after using the newer builds with ICS rotations. Seems like rotations are less laggy and animations a little smoother in general without them. Also seems to be the most stable build.
