I tried flashing this but for some reason the tweaks weren't sticking. I managed by unzipping and moving the files to the appropriate locations.

    Mount /system before flashing?

I installed it last night, it seems quicker but I wonder if any of that is placebo effect. Regardless, it didn't hurt the phone, and it didn't cost anything, so I give it a thumbs up.

Well I just installed the amphetamines mod myself, and the results were disappointing, unfortunately.

    LG Optimus V
    IHO BACKside ROM
    Boot times

LG logo to Virgin Mobile, with mod: 60s
LG logo to Virgin Mobile, without mod: 59s

Didn't speed up my boot times, in fact it was a second slower

Maybe it didn't stick, try putting the files in the folders the other guy suggested?

Okay if you are running IHO this is not needed, but if you are running either Stock Rooted or Stock Custom then yes use. Note: because of the extra init.d folder scripts boot time well be slower.

I thought it was a great name. It was the main reason i tried it out. And, it seems to of helped a bit as well, especially for screen responsiveness.
Why not muscle, speed, Hercules, hero, Tap out, and a million others? Amphetamines? Really? Just think that is for tweaks.....known a few, they burn and die quick.
Don't boo things you can't use johnly.

It doesn't change the name of the kernel in my settings. But when I flashed, it completely flashed! So is the name in the about phone option in settings supposed to change?

Other than that's its awesome

that is because it is a script and not a kernel. It will not show in about phone.

You have to change your user agent in whatever browser your using to be able to see the page. Preferably to "Desktop" usually works.

I have no problem downloading from my pc. I think it just has to be a mediafire problem. I tried four different mobile browsers, different settings, long pressing, open in new window, and it just comes out as blank page.

Quick question. If you flash a rom some time after flashing this, does the mod remain on the phone? Or does it require a reflash?
