one quick question regarding themes. should i avoid the themes in the themes app? i'm guessing they're all hdpi. or will they work on our phones?

I believe that MIUI expanded their themes for mdpi, but you're going to want to try without lockscreen first.

Lockscreen isnt, so, call your phone, answer, click home, hang up on other phone, change lockscreen.

This is if the lockscreen doesnt work.

nice! what themes did you use? it looks like xda's themes section is just full of muiu themes, but i'm guessing they're all hdpi.

also, in regards to lockscreen, i'm pretty sure you can choose not to change lockscreen when changing theme, can't you?

Themes on Market/MIUI thing. Apply icons and etc, not lockscreen. Use Gannons fix.


Gannon, shouldnt the launcher be the.one from gingerbread miui? Not ICS?

The icons are different than the actual icons. The launcher also has different effects when adding widgets too. Download Launcher Pro and look at the Phone, Contact, Browser and messaging icons.

Theme fix didnt work for me ;/ just says successfully applied and doesnt apply...

Use root explorer and add data/system/theme/ manually.

Delete the folder MIUI on your sd card after, then download a theme

Im using iphone theme atm.

If any of you get stuck on a lockscreen, just press back and volume up at the same time. It unlocks it for you

I'm gonna experiment with this, see how things go.


Also, the LeWa rom, It won't let me download from the site. It's about 68MB, but only downloads less that 900KB's.

Would there be a way to trick the phone to think it's HDPI? So all themes would work?

Also, does anyone know of a port to MIUI for CM's DSP Manager?
