I am running the stock 2.2.1 ROM, but I rooted my phone and link most of my apps on a second partition of the sd card.

To install the new radio update, I flashed the Bobzhome recovery. I regrettably deleted the cache & dalvik when flashing the recovery.

Afterward, a couple dozen of my apps seemed to disappear. I reinstalled the apps I use regularly.

Since that time, however, I lost about 35 MB of free internal storage space. (On the bright side, this turn of events freed up over 100 MB of space on the second partition.)

I have relinked library & davlik-cache files. But, I have not been able to recover the internal storage space.

I'm hoping some of you can identify the solution for reclaiming the lost internal storage space. As you may have guessed, I am not a particularly savvy Optimus V user. I have not yet flashed a custom ROM on the phone. But, I recognize I might need to change that.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It did 8 days ago, which was a few days before my problem appeared.
