I have no MMS issues, I am running the latest CAI alpha16 with VM 16 fix plus I am using cannibal for CWM recovery. I do a full wipe three times before I install the ROM (leslieann file).

after reading around a lot last night i decided to try out quattrimus first. so far i'm pretty stoked on it, one weird thing though... if i reboot the phone while i'm plugged onto a power source, it turns off and gives me the battery charge icon instead of doing an actual reboot. i'm sure i'll eventually play around with CAI as well.

Yes. But JerryScript had it setup better I think. I'll need to look into his changes.

@TDM, How can one remove Offline Charging? I had my phone plugged up, rebooted, held the power button none stop, it kept going to offline Charging. Only solution was to remove the cable.

Here are jerry's cm9 changes, but they don't work well with the latest init.c

This rom kinda sucks no offense to the Creator but the YouTube videos just don't play right and If I have 4.0 everything should be at it'd best.

If you need to have the absolute latest and greatest version of Android, maybe you should consider buying a Nexus. I'd say 4.0 on a phone that shipped with 2.2 is pretty amazing, even with minor issues, like YouTube as you mentioned.

Use it or don't, but please don't be rude to our devs. They work very hard, without a paycheck, for you, and the rest of us.

Well it looks like Cold As Ice is working on Optimus V. I take no credit for figuring any of this out, or even being a DEV. I just like using ROMs. So here's the steps you need to take to get Cold As Ice working on the Optimus V!

    Boot into recovery.
    Make a backup.
Clear Data, Cache & Dalvik Cache.

Install the Cold As Ice zip...
    Download Link - Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading alpha9d-cm9-LS670-kraven-signed.zip
    Forum Link - http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...nd-alpha9.html

    Flash Gapps
    Download Link - Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading gapps-ics-20120317-small-signed.zip

Reboot your phone, it will take a while to start up.

Once it starts up you'll notice a few things are still messed up so reboot back into recovery.

Now you'll want to install the HydroKernel to fix the camera.
    Download Link - http://www.teamhydro.net/downloads/K...3-unsigned.zip
    Forum Link - http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...c-enabled.html

Now it's time to fix the buttons.
    Download Link - http://db.tt/bFtR1sAC
    Forum Link - http://forums.androidcentral.com/opt...2kb-4.html#anb

Last Step, Insatll CM9 Reloaded (Optional)
This will give you all sorts of awesome customization options! It's rad!
Forum Link (downloads at bottom of First Post) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ghlight=preset

Now boot up again and enjoy CM9!

Note: The camera live preview doesn't work but it will take pictures. I guess taking video doesn't work either.

Note: I don't know anything about building ROMs so I would not be the right person to ask, just posting this to help out!
The link is down and or do I just download the most recent one from the forum link?
