My phone wont charge. I put the charger in and it stays in the same battery level. What's the problem.

No its not. I have ordered a new cable and wall plugin from virgin mobile and it does the same thing.

Do you have to keep it plugged up to have phone on or does battery seem to keep a charge. I'd boot into recovery, go to advanced and wipe battery stats. reboot to rom and let it charge and see if that helped any. If you go to settings > about phone you can see battery status and charge level. See of this number changes while charging and if it shows discharging or charging. If it doesn't want to charge in rom I'd also try charging in recovery. There is a battery status under advanced. See if any of these steps yield results.

Way to test your charger: power on the phone, plug in charger, and remove battery. If your phone stays on (it should) your charger has juice.

Sometimes, you may just need to wiggle it. A power jack can be loose or bad soldering, but it isnt totally dead.

I had the same problem charging while running the aosp rom. I had to switch to stock. I now run backside without any problems.
