so many roms now! what are you using?
- Stable: ICSandwich 2.3.7
I love the look of it though it still has the feel of GB. The v3 kernel is quite weak but that should be fixed with v4. The kernel that was used in v2 was great.
Experimental: Cold as Ice (ICS.) I have this up and running with the Go SMS MMS fix. Everything else worked out of the box except for the camera.04-29-2012 10:41 PMLike 0 -
Sent from my VM670 using Tapatalk 204-30-2012 12:03 AMLike 0 - I go back and forth between Bobz's, Backside and Harmonia. They're all great builds, I've never experienced a glitch I didn't cause on them.
But to answer the question: I'm on Backside right now.04-30-2012 03:31 AMLike 0 -
- I am using Kraven's Cold as Ice ALPHA 6 with a few files moved over from quatrimus to make the buttons work and the carrier label change. I use the old version because the bluetooth audio is screwed in the newer 4.0.4 builds. I was using Harmonia 2 before this rom and It will always be my fallback ROM. Well at least until Leslie updates it to ICS (if she does we will be lucky to have it)04-30-2012 06:20 PMLike 0
- Right now just switched to Cold As Ice Alpha 9 and wow it is sick! Way more stable than Quattrimus (for now
)

- curtis1973King Of Pantsive tried both, unstable due to being alphas. but with that said,i liked tdm's better because it is for ov and hes rather speedy with updates for such a busy guy.04-30-2012 09:22 PMLike 0
- I think you're the first one to claim that Cold as Ice is unstable. It's an alpha because it's lacking some features. Stability wise it's great, especially with the kernel the OP posted. Apparently the new kernel that fixes the camera is even better.04-30-2012 11:00 PMLike 0
- curtis1973King Of Pantsprobably better to clarify that its unstable for me,as is tdm's. they both crash and reboot at a high frequency for me trying to do much of anything on them.04-30-2012 11:04 PMLike 0
- I'm on Harmonia 2.07 with the "ice9" theme installed over it. Fast fast fast with excellent battery life and the look of ice cream sandwich

No reboots except for the usual stressing the processor (the one thing that still needs to be worked on with every ICS kernel) so this has been quite nice as a daily driver. It's approaching GB stability and daily usability a lot faster than I was expecting.Encerspay45 likes this.05-14-2012 01:31 AMLike 1
- Running the latest version of mirage, with the new kernel.
Fastest (overclocked at 804/480) most stable (no reboots, few fc's - only when I'm screwing with stuff), great battery life (atleast 16 hrs, with 10 hrs of mediocore use while @ work - custom juice defender ultimate settings) rom for me.
It keeps up with me, and thats impressive. Thanks mrg666 - great work my friend. And that goes to all the developers. The things you guys do are amazing. You take an otherwise (lower than) average phone, and actually make it a decent, dependable, reliable phone.
((Patiently waiting ICS))05-14-2012 08:20 AMLike 0 - notownSAMLOKAi cant wait for a quattrimus ROM. Its amazing the amount of progress everyone has done.. ICS running on a V!!
TDM : Arguably an evil genius gone good...hes just a super mastermind in the eyes of many . Much kuddos to all the devs and testers.
As of now im using Tvall's MEGA ROM... I made MEGA up but it really is great05-14-2012 08:33 AMLike 0 - mknollman123Frugal Nerd Tinkerer
I am currently on IHO ICSandwich 2.3.7 by theunknownartist - from a backup from a few weeks ago, but might be heading back to froyo for the battery life, stability, and better behavior from my favorite podcatcher beyondpod.
Might be cool if someone came up with a short list of benefits specifically for this device for each OS version05-14-2012 09:52 AMLike 0 - mknollman123Frugal Nerd TinkererThe main difference for me may be trivial for some - froyo has no placement cursor. This one difference makes me nuts otherwise i would be on bumblebee right now.
