>>>BACK STORY<<<
After flashing Quattrimus CM9 Beta1 Pre3, I was taken by the CM9 Bootanimation. I liked it so much that I imported it to AOKP Beta1 Pre1 when I flashed it. After stumbling upon Anthony's After Burner Theme, GO SMS Blood Red theme, and Apollo Red Theme, I HAD to do something about that Cyan colored boot animation... so I did an outstanding recolor job to the Boot animation, and made it red.

>>>>>DISCLAIMER<<<<<
I will NOT be held accountable for any inconvenience this may cause, I do NOT own the rights to Cyanogen Mod, or any of their proceedings. This is merely an edit of the original Boot animation.

Without further a due;

I PRESENT TO YOU, CYANOGEN MOD 9 RED REDUX!

How many .PNG files are in this?

Not signed, so make sure sig verification is off

I'll try yours in a second, I just tried making one, and it came back as "Installation aborted"
if it works, I will add to my other postings in other forums, and thank you respectively.

That's basically all I did.
And thank you for confirming that his flashable zip works. Will update the OP's now, to thank tvall.
And this is more or less my first anything. Everyone starts somewhere, for now, I'm going to edit various boot animations, along with creating a few of my own. Some will be theme oriented, to go with the DHoT team themes, and some will be random creations of my own.

I do, I'm fixing it to look even better :D
It will look even more like the original, only difference is that it equals red
Using Sony Vegas to batch edit all the PNG's.

That saves me the trouble of doing it myself, I will add yours to the second post(in AF, AC, and DHoT) when you finish.

I'm trying to figure out how to export the images without creating doubles........

That was my issue as well...
You can overwrite the images. After all, if you made a mistake, the originial .png files are in the bootanimation.zip.

What I did to edit all the .png's was, using Pain.net, and a mouse macro, I recorded the process of editing 1 .png, and saving it. Then having the Macro edit the other 169 .png's for me while I watch TV.

I figured this out already, my issue now is the boot animation won't show up after booting, the names are EXACTLY the same...

EDIT: I just found my mistake.....the dimensions are screwed up....stupid vegas lol

Fixed dimensions still don't work

I replied to your similar post on the AF thread. If you aren't using boot animation factory to compile the animation for you, I recommend it. And you can push the animation to your phone using BAF as well.

Sent from my un-dead sandwich.
