Aw shucks.

I think I'll remain optimistic... at one time we didn't think the camcorder function would ever work either but its working now. Just sit tight we have some extremely talented devs working to get ICS fully functional. It might happen but its just as likely it won't at the moment.

Good point I think I'll remain optimistic as well.

First jellybean device seems to be the nexus 7 tablet, ship date expected 7/17. Jellybean source should follow within a week or so. Then allow at least a month to get it to build.

No rush for the Jellybean update, I just want to see this kernel get released. Apparently the driver architecture should be identical to ICS, so you could get a stable build in about a months time possibly sooner!

I have just gotten my first insufficient storage space message. It started after I cleared my market data from my apps menu. I think, looking at data, this might be coincidental. What I'm wondering, is why are all apks stored in data/app as well as on the ext. I've attached a df and, you can see I've got plenty of space on sd-ext, but not so much on data. Any solutions other than removing apps? Can i kill the automagic link and use a 2sd script? Can i move installer cache to sd-ext or eliminate the apks from/data? Tdm, any solutions?

You need to clear out /data/app for sdext to be used. Boot into recovery and move all your apk files to /sd-ext/app to fix it.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply, but how do I move those files from within recovery?

I tested this using an app i didn't much care about by copying (overwrite) to sd-ext, since the apk was in both locations, and the app no longer launches. In the process of creating a nandroid and then copying every apk from /data/app to /sd-ext/app. If it kills it, I'll let you know.

Works near beautifully. Best ROM I've ever used on my LG Optimus V. The only thing I really want changed is the video playback, it's horrible on more than just YouTube. Nearly every video (That I've tried) runs horribly.

OK, so here's the output from df in adb:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 217948 32 217916 0% /dev
/dev/block/mtdblock1 112768 1312 111456 1% /cache
/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 30152240 24137872 6014368 80% /sdcard
/dev/block/mtdblock5 168448 149808 18640 89% /system
/dev/block/mtdblock6 183168 125804 57364 69% /data
/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 937202 556784 330419 63% /sd-ext

But the odd thing is when I ls or view /data/app when the phone is in recovery nothing shows, all apks show as being only in sd-ext...

That is odd. It looks like neither app nor dalvik are being remounted. But clearly you have an sdext partition that is being used.

Sitting in recovery with not much else to do, anything I can try to do to fix it or diagnose it? I'll be a guinea pig for a while if it'll help me or anyone else...
