Decided to flash this new long-awaited ROM as an early Sunday morning project, since for some reason I am up at this ridiculous hour. And it is definitely worth the upgrade. The quirky "process" force closes are now gone, and it does seem quite a bit less buggy than before. Also a bit more responsive. Me likes!

What's the difference between this and GTR reloaded? Because I'm currently on GTR reloaded and its stability and slickness and music quality has made me love my phone again.

GingerSnap, read the OP. Neko made a small introduction for GingerSnap. GingerSnap is faster than GTR, IMO. Its leaner more updated. Less buggy.

I thought that too but idk just the idea of cm9 changed me haha I've tryed every primoc (virgin mobile one v) rom except paranoid android. Kinda scared there's so much to do for it haha

We bought two of them off EBay (Thanks, Mr. Anonymous!) and I had to drive two hours both ways to get them at 1am. Fun times.

It was a good thing we did it that way, though, because we don't live in a 3G area and they wouldn't have been sold at local stores.

Try disabling signature verification

Just to be clear:
I'm currently on GTR Reloaded. I can just wipe dalvik cache and system cache in recovery, just flash the GingerSnap package and all is well?

Yes, but make a backup incase you don't like Gingersnap.

I recommend a clean flash. Doing this wipe this and that(caches) allows you to KEEP your data files, as in the apps you've downloaded.
