EDIT: Im still having a really hard tine with this and was wondering if someone could give it a shot? I always get half the size in apps and they dont work :(

I seem to have trouble doing this now, but i cant fix MMS in this rom. If i do it, the rom freezes on bootanimation. If i don't , it boots fine.

Anyone wanna give it a shot?

Re: (HELP)Fix MMS in GS2.0+

What steps did you try so far?

My first move will likely be swapping out the framework.jar in the new one with the 1.4 version. I looked at the decompiled framework-res.apk files from both and they looked okay as far as I could tell.

Could the presence of all those odex files be the problem?

On an unrelated note, I'm also customizing mine my changing the default font to helvetica neue and replacing the LG theme launcher with Nemus. I really like the dialer in the old GS. Is it still in the new ones?

Hey, is there something simpler for Windows, along the lines of APK Manager?

EDIT: I think xUltimate may work:

Baksmalimanager worked for decompiling the jar files.

Hey TGL, did you try this yet? I just decompiled the two framework.jar files and replaced the new CdmaSMSDispatcher.smalis file with one from the 1.4 Op V ROM (didn't deodex -- just opened it up with 7zip). I compared the two smalis files side by side in Notepad++ and the old one had much more information in it. Perhaps this could be the problem?

I'm going to try flashing this tonight (when I don't have to worry about anyone calling or whatever), unless this method has already been tried and the MMS issue remained unsolved. Keep your fingers crossed. I'll post back with the results, and if it is the framework.jar, I'll post the working version.
