INTRO:

Hi and WELCOME, once again I present you my shared ROM, now that we are having stable builds of ICS (Android 4.0.4) I decided to move on it and give up on GingerBread, knowing mostly everyone knows about GingerSnap which will be the successor of this ROM i.e (ICy Snap). Know that we have an upgrade all same stuffs from before will be included on this, like my ui concept LGUI as usual, making mods improving system and get some snappiness, porting some goodies, and expect the unexpected so Good Luck and enjoy to everyone :good:

• LG 3 User Interface Inspired (PATCHED ROM Fyi)
• LG 3.0 Launcher from L5 (Widget and icons automatically moves and fits on screen, same as in JB )
• LG 3.0 Weather Widget

• L7 Wallpapers, Fonts and Boot Animation
• Fancy Framework LG UI cosmetics
• Fancy UI animations from Jelly Bean
• Some Ported LG Apps From Optimus L7 (More soon)

• System Optimizer Featuring ICy Tweaker
• Improved LMK Mem and OOM grouping

• NO Theme.apk, This is a Patched ROM
• aLogcat app, so newbies can monitor and send logcats, see Guides how to enable logcat 1st

▷TERMINAL EMULATOR COMMANDS

TAKE NOTE! ALL COMMANDS WILL ONLY WORK BY TYPING "su" (W/O QUOTATIONS) 1ST

▷TO ENABLE OR DISABLE BOOT SOUND
▷TYPE: "bootfxoff" TO DISABLE
▷TYPE: "bootfxon" TO ENABLE

FYI, SCRIPT IS UPDATED, IT GIVES YOU OPTION TO CHANGE BOOT SOUND
EASILY BY DISABLING BOOT SOUND IT WILL MOVE "android_aduo.mp3"
TO YOUR SD CARD ROOT, NOW BY REPLACING IT WITH ANY SOUND YOU LIKE


Personally, I have never tested these commands, so it's all you guys.

Reverted the dalvik cache to data patch, could fix the random reboots while browsing

• Download ROM.zip copy to sdcard
• Reboot to recovery
• MUST wipe data, dalvik-cache, system, sdext
• Flash the ROM and wait for the installation to finish
• Reboot and Enjoy ICySnap

If CM doesnt have the Settings in it, you need HDD Hex Editor.and edit Eri.xml in Framework-res.apk

Yeah, it wound up being a bad flash. All is working smoothly now.

So glad to see someone using theKraven's ics as a base for a new rom! Plus a new version of 'snap! Gonna try this out asap! I've never used three exclamation points in a row before, sorry.

First impression: awesome! I love the animations. Taskbar is kinda cool. I can't seem to find the launcher options, I'd like to cut down to 3 home screens and hide icon labels. Idk if i missed that somewhere. Weather widget is really nice. So glad you used theKraven's ics as a base.

It's great running smooth, only thing is i keep getting "Error retrieving information from server" everytime i try to do anything with google play, tried reflashing GAPPS, not sure how to fix. Otherwise everything else is great takes a bit getting used to.

Must of been bad install, re-installed ROM and Gapps again and all is working fine now.
