please help, losing hope.

hello, I rooted my Lg Optimus V with Gigerbreak everything was good until I tried to factory reset it. my phone will only go into clockwork mod recovery 5.0.2.7 which I didn't know I had. I'm aware that to select sonething I'd the camera button but it won't let me. when i try to select something thee text flashes but that's it nothing else happens. please help yes I am a noob.

I'm betting you tried to factory reset from the settings menu instead of the recovery console.

Hmm.. If you didn't know you had cwm... Did you by chance use rom manager? You probably have an incompatible recovery. I'm pretty sure there's ways to fix this without kdz. Ever setup adb?

The one for the v is gone that's true but the optimus c is still there and someone who doesn't know better could easily end up flashing it

If that's what the op did my idea is to use qtadb to hopefully flash a new recovery

Its possible but the class path to the Java jdk6 java.exe must be set properly, as well as the path to the adb.exe.
The OP hasn't posted a reply in some time now though.
