Optimus V manual Update?...

I have a rooted Optimus V, and was wondering how to update to a stock android 2.3 or Honeycomb rom, and how to do this without ROM Manager, and I read Radio.img's would brick my phone. Any way to get around this?

Rom Manager also does not support my phone.

there are not and never will be a honeycomb update for any smartphone.. EVER. you could download aosp 2.3 gingerbread and flash it. its somewhere around the forum
