I saw this on my News&Weather app today. I'm so excited, I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonite!

I actually can't calm down enough to think of which idea to post!

Edit: I calmed down enough to google, and found out it requires 2.3.4, now I've gotta beg aosp for a hack to let us use it with his ROMs. Otherwise, I will unfortunately have to find the cheapest/reliable device I can put 2.3.4 on, not that I will use it for anything else, I love my V no matter what!

Edit2: aospCM7 is now 2.3.4

download the music app from the android market. you can sign up from there. am i the only one who thinks the app is SUPER slow?

While a bit buggier than previous releases, the latest aospCM7 build is 2.3.4, so we can use Arduino now! Found some samples for App Inventor, basic stuff so far, but it shows the potential.

A simple text message sent to any device can be huge. A small business owner can change the message on a sign board from half way around the world using a phone. A controller can be sent a series of commands, allowing a remote device in a dangerous or othewise inaccessible environment to be controlled/reconfigured/reprogrammed. A home appliance can be programmed, such as the example shown controlling an air conditioner. Etc, etc, etc.

Can't wait to have the google light bulb in my house!

An fm transmitter is pretty small, the arduino board would be much larger, and alot geekier.
