Help me decide!!

Hey I would like to know what you recommend me for a smartphone...
Im buying one in the next few days, unlocked from amazon, for now my options are:
-XPERIA PLAY
-LG OPTIMUS BLACK

Both are about the same price ($300)

Im a teenager, take into account the internet speed, screen, UI, future updates and gaming performance. I just want you to tell me what should I get.

I can let you know in a few days about the Xperia Play. I just ordered it, and it will be in Thursday. Got it free from Verizon on a promotion with a month early upgrade, and free overnight shipping! Although I am not a big gamer per se, I have had sony ericsson phones before and have always been happy with the call quality and signal strength.

I currently have the Optimus S, and should be getting my Xperia Play today. So i can tell you about the Optimus, it is a pretty solid Android starter phone. Key word there being "starter", it really has nothing over the top or fancy. I have had no problems with mine, but my wife has had issues with hers freezing up, but hers is stock, and mine is rooted running gRom 2.3.
