"Powered by Android 2.3.4, the AirPad X is equipped with a powerful Cortex A9 processor, has a brilliant 10.2" color screen, 4 GB onboard memory (plus an additional 32 GB with microSD card, not included), a built in camera/video recording device, and is Amazon Android Appstore capable. When you compare the AirPad X features with any other tablet on the market, you won't find a better 10" tablet at a better price. " $249.00

I'm interested. It just went on sale @ $179 for Black Friday week. Anyone tried one yet?

Update: the 7 inch one (with the bad review) is the one @ $179. The 10 inch is $249.

I bought the 10 inch Airpad for my wife for Christmas. It operated for about 4 weeks during which she downloaded one book. She put the Airpad aside for about 3 weeks. When she tried to turn it on it would not turn on. Connecting the charger does not help. Is there an indicator lamp to indicate charging? My 7 inch Airpad has such a lamp. The two units operate at different voltages and have different connectors so chargers cannot be interchanged.

Since the unit should be under warranty, I don't want to open it up to replace battery.

I cannot find out how to make contact with X10 regarding this problem, can anyone help me?
