Chinese Tablet Not Recognized in USB Debugger Mode

Im a HS teacher wanting to use some cheap tablets in the classroom to introduce programming (by way of App Inventor). I purchased the RK701 which seems decent, running ICS (4.0.4) but I cant get it to be recognized as a device. Heres some info: It works fine when USB debugger mode is not selected. On pc when USB debugger mode is on, it says RK701 drivers not installed. On mac when USB debugger mode is on, it says nothing. I ran ADB devices and it said no devices. I cant seem to find any drivers that work for it. Any ideas? Thanks, JB
