just bought zte speed, says authentication error when i try to connect it to wifi.
just got a ZTE speed,

it is boost mobile, i dont want to activate it with a number, i want to use it like an ipod touch. my brother bought a zte phone but a different model today as well for the same purpose. his connects to our wifi fine. but mine says authentication error when i try to connect. i also randomnly get the message
(The network did not respond in time. The SIM card has locked. Please power cycle the device and if the problem persists contact customer service.
i have restarted my phone twice, restarted my router twice, and even reset my phone to factory defaults. nothing helps, and i dont know anything about computers, routers, or phones.
