I really cannot worry about major companies suing each other. They all have armies of lawyers. It is not personel, just business. They lose no sleep over it. Why should you? I was more annoyed when Sawstop sued Bosch because they forced a new design safety saw off the US market. In spite of the Sawstop claims, it offered something their design did not. The blade is not destroyed when it triggers. The consumer paid the price. The trouble with patents is that they can be so broad that any innovation can run afoul of it, preventing legitimate competition.
