Hopefully I have put this in the right spot.
I want an app to capture true HDR (as best as can be on a phone) by taking multiple stills and processing the merge.

I bought the paid version of HDR camera+ as it had good reviews. After experimenting with 3 pictures it was working ok but then an ad for "better camera" popped up. Now I know I got it on special for 99 cents but the last thing I was expecting was a freaking pop up ad!!!
So I quickly went to the store and got my refund.

So what are some recommendations?

I'm using camera Zoom FX instead of the standard note 3 camera.
So what's a good HDR app?

A Better Camera is from the same developer as HDR+. I'd consider the popup to be an upgrade notice rather than an ad.

Fair enough it's from the same developer but I still wasn't expecting ads in a paid version of the app.

So any other recommendations for HDR camera apps?

I was hoping for an answer as well. This past weekend I migrated over to the Google camera app. It's much quicker than the standard note 3 camera.

My goal was quick simple shots that are in focus.

If your Note 3 is on Android 4.4 KitKat I would recommend trying out the Google Camera, it has a pretty amazing HDR+ mode however I am not entirely sure whether it works for all devices or only the Nexus 5.
