We bought my Wife a new Pixel 2 should be shipping the week after. She had a stroke so we need a case that has the buttons exposed vs covered.

Finger strength is very limited so a light weight case is needed vs bulky.

Looking for options???

https://www.amazon.com/Google-ProCa...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6012162 - $9.99 on Amazon.

I ordered the 2 XL version of the case (currently sold out), just got it in today. Looks to be very good quality, with cutouts for the buttons so that should be no issue for her. The XL version only weights about half an ounce, so the weight shouldn't be an issue.

Just worth noting that these thin shell cases (this, and the Peel referenced in the earlier reply) don't offer a great deal of actual protection from drops, but are better than none.

I bought the Midnight for my Pixel 2. So far I like it but then I've only had it for less than one day. :) I wanted something fun since I got the plain black phone so I would get it sooner.

The package said it can be "hand-washed" so it seems to be cleanable.

The Spigen Thin Fit case should meet your requirements. They're going for $11.99 right now and will be in stock tomorrow.

Hope she recovers well. We lost a 30 yr old niece to a stroke a couple years ago, right in front of her daughter no less.

Sorry to hear about your wife. :-( One of my best buddies had a stroke a few years ago at 30 years old. He's making the best of it but it sure has been tough on him and his family.

I got the Spigen Thin Fit yesterday and like it. Exactly the same case I had on my HTC 10 until it cracked from a drop. It's slim and yes the buttons are exposed.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I like that vs. the Ringke Bevel I have. I might leave the Spigen in my truck and just use it when I want to mount my phone for travel since it has room for the QNMP metal plate in it.

Can you share a pic of the midnight? I ordered this for my 2 XL and will get it next week.

The spigen looks good but I"m worried cause its so thin, it won't offer as much protection as caseology or the other ones... I want a thin case but also the best all around protection too with decent price. hmmm

My phone has finally shipped and I'm a bit nervous about putting a case on it since I'm moving up from a 5" to a 6". I'm wondering how awkward it will be to hold with a case.

So far, I've ordered these cases:

Spigen Neo Hybrid
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6041420

MNML in red
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6041420

Caseology Parallax in black
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6041420

I've ordered and already returned these two cases because they looked cheap to me:

Anoke Ultra
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6041420

Kugi "leather" case

Got my mnml case today for my pixel 2 (regular). It fits very well and is well made and very very slim. It provides protection from scratches etc on the back and sides, with no protection on the front.
The biggest issue for me is that to me it feels less grippy than the actual phone so it won't work for me. I need to look further.

I ordered the midnight fabric case for my pixel 2. I actually like it. It's softer than the fabric on the google home, but not plush. It really adds grip. I've been using it for a couple of days and it doesn't seem to soak up anything or stain easily. It provides a bit of protection, but it's not otterbox defender.IMG_20171027_173529.jpgIMG_20171027_173535.jpg

I ordered a MNML clear black case...and received a blue iPhone case. The package has the label for the correct case on it but the wrong case was in the package. have contacted support to get the right case sent to me.

Update: the label for the Pixel 2 XL case I had ordered was on to of a label for the iPhone 8 Plus case that I received.
