External Music Stroage

Im new to Android so apologies if this is an obvious n00b question

Im a DJ and i have a Pixel C i want to use to DJ on. I have a large collection of music, too big to fit on the Pixel C internal storage. I have a USBC flash drive with my music on it.The Android file transfer app or Solid Explorer can see the drive and the music files on it.

But every DJ app Ive tried can only access music that is stored in the Android default Music library. So I need one of two things:
1. How can I redirect the default Music library to my USB drive or add the USB drive to the default Music library path? I know how to do this on Windows but cant seem to do it on Android
2. Alternately can anyone recommend a DJ app that allows me to access music that isnt in the default Music library and is stored on my USB drive instead?
