Raid battle errors

Everytime I go to fight a raid boss at a gym i get an error.
Any idea why this happens or how I can fix it? Sometimes it says network error but what does that mean too? Please help.

Network error means that the game lost it's connection to the servers. Error happens to me a lot too. I found that if I exit the gym and walk completely out of range and then return the error will go away and I can battle as normal.

I've been having the same problems. The fixes listed below haven't helped and it's frustrating as you lose your raid pass but can't battle. Was only able to access a raid one time and that was by restarting multiple times before I finally got in. I have limited time to play so usually I won't bother anymore if it gives me an error

Try uninstalling the app & trying again when you've installed it.
