Obama OKs march on mall for illegal immigrants | The Daily Caller

So basically, they are opening up the national mall(area closed because of shutdown) for a large immigration reform rally. Controversy? They are not opening up any of the other sites(WW2 memorial, national monuments, ect.) for Americans to visit, but they are opening up this site for a rally about giving illegal immigrants amnesty. And the organizers of the rally are using the excuse of "Freedom of Speech"

This group also appears to support the current administration's stance on immigration reform... I know you are surprised that this is being allowed to happen

Because not allowing immigrants in particularly illegal refugees is a breach on international law.
How do I know this? because immigration is big here and our nation has been warned for threatening to escort boats by our navy to their original port before hitting Australian waters (as when in the waters we have to process).

There is no reason why these immigrants would be protected by international law.

Plus it is a rally about immigration. I am sure there will be illegals there, but it is not like it is an official meet an greet. It is just a meeting that i assume most of the attendees will be citizens.

Plus i know no international law that say that a government has to open a closed facility just so a group of people that broke laws can meet and yell about how they deserve to be in said country. If there is an international that says something like this, i hope the US is intelligent enough not to recognize it.

This whole event is just and example of how the current administration is bias toward groups that please them.

And many were arrested. It was allowed under the First Amendment, same as the WWII memorial was later.

It was the Gang of 30 that was absolutely giddy coming out of the House chambers after the vote to close the government. They were cheering in the halls of Congress. Now, they are finding out a lot of people are affected by the shutdown.

Wait until they breach the debt ceiling.

Illegals have no First Amendment rights.

    Proof, please.

BTW, the Dems are the cause for the shutdown. If they had done a little negotiating, this wouldn't have happened. Instead, they had a holier-than-thou attitude, and now it is looking like the House is right about delaying Obamacare for a year: Administration sources: Obamacare website received just 51,000 completed insurance applications | Mail Online

Negotiations? How about not screwing around with the financials of the country. That's a start.

But of course, it doesn't matter what I say or post, the outcome on here is always the same.

No, a start would have been some negotiations at the beginning, which the Dems refused to do. With the dismal start to Obamacare signups, it seems as though it should have an individual mandate delay for a year to get things worked out.

Maybe the Democrats are sick of 'negotiations'. Every time negotiations are attempted, the right cranks up their demands. Like Social Security. I got a whopping $9/mo COLA raise last year. Now they want it to be $3/mo. It's never enough for them. And how about stop drinking before a vote on the House floor, then the two sides can have a rational discussion on the issues.

I know that, but it was highlighting 2010 as far as any "celebrating" is concerned. Plus, MSNBC is known for manipulating and editing videos, so be careful what you believe from that channel.

Nope, numerous reporters in print and TV have mentioned it over the past two weeks. Google it, I'm dealing with a power outage right now, so I'm multitasking on the beast.

At work so cannot watch the video atm.

The Dems are being just are ignorant at this point. The only real leg they have to stand on is that the Reps wait till close to the shutdown to start to really try and negotiate. After the shutdown the Dems have nothing other than give the Reps the middle finger while Obama screams at the top of his lungs that he will not negotiate until he is promised to get everything he wants.

Basically, until the Dems at least consider the Reps demands nothing is going to get done. The Reps have come too far to duck tale and run in complete defeat. Eventually blame will start to shift over the the Dems as Reps keep trying to negotiate while being denied.
