Not true. So I care to practice Satanism I am protected under the Amendment just as well? Also, it's funny you say that when Hobby Lobby is doing exactly that, they think because they don't believe in something they think they should be exempt from the law.

You'd have to be more specific in what practice you were being denied. I don't know a thing about Satanism.

    2. If they want BC, there are still 16 other options provided by the company's plan.

    3. Your happiness or religious beliefs do not trump those of your employer. If they are in direct conflict, you should find another job before asking someone else to compromise their beliefs.

I can't believe you said we don't need sex to service when sex is how humans survive. Birth control in particular helps us survive so no unplanned pregnancies or accident happen. If I am working for Hobby Lobby and I have a kid, I will have to take time off, have parental leave and be prepared for emergencies.

Which in essence takes away from the company because they are out an employee. This van all go back to the company themselves is not doing everything it can to keep employees happy and prioritizing their personal religious beliefs over anything else.

It disgusts me, we even let them get away with this.

Use a condom and if your too lazy to attain one, Plan B is OTC and available without prescription. Have her pick you up (baseball term) for your carelessness. Otherwise scrounge under the couch cushions for all the money you need to abort the fetus, long term it will be cheaper than paying for the kid and all its needs for 27yrs. If you work for a company like Hobby Lobby and like all forms of BC available and aborting kids, I'd say find another job. You work for them, it isn't the other way around.

Why should this exemption be any different than all the ones that Obama has provided to his campaign donors such as unions?

My wife and I would beg to differ on that one, but that's a whole other subject. You call it recreational, I call it practice.

What about the morning after pill and abortions then?

I know, but I don't know anything about it. I wouldn't disqualify it just because it isn't mainstream.

I doubt you are asking anyone else to pay for your "practice". These people are wanting us to stay out of their bedroom, but wait outside the door to fix any unwanted consequences.

Why is a company forcing their religious beliefs on employees? Wouldn't this be a violation of the first amendment?

You can buy the morning after pill over-the-counter. I don't follow what you are asking about abortions.

Why do you feel you're entitled to a job there? That the employer must bend and cave to your every need? Employers have always picked benefits packages. I don't remember my office going around to find out if anyone had kids who may be in need of braces before deciding on dental coverage. The difference here is before they were free to choose, now Uncle Sam is picking for everyone.

No, Uncle Sam is concerned for it's citizens health as it should be, the United States sucks when it comes to healthcare and affordability. And to too it off our citizens are some of the unhealthiest lot on the planet.

Morning after pills come before any of that though. As I said before no one know a woman is pregnant until days to weeks after conception.

Care to explain how your "health" and that of girlfriend or spouse is being impacted by not getting coverage for an abortion? (spare me the life of the mother and complications arguement, we are talking about "boo boo's" & "accidents") Just as insurance companies will label Viagra as "lifestyle" drugs not covered. Getting an abortion because you just don't want it is a "lifestyle" choice.

I suggest you take a hard look at just how "affordable" premiums are now. Mine would have doubled if I wasn't allowed to keep my own plan. As far as the unhealthiest on the planet, that has nothing to do with our healthcare system and everything to do with our lifestyles as a nation. How many people still use tobacco knowing exactly what it does to you? Every one of them is hoping to be that rare guy who made it to 85 smoking 2 packs of Pall Mall non-filter.

Still have to take a pregnancy test a few weeks after using them to verify.

What I've found is if you're anti-establishment, anti-morality-legislation, anti-big business, and most of all not anti-logic, then you must be some sort of liberal tree-hugging hell spawn of the democratic party by anyone that's right wing.

What's irritating to me is that the Democrats don't necessarily fight for what I believe is important either. If I had my way, I'd build a party around Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. Those two seem to get it. Sadly, those appear to be the ONLY TWO that seem to get it.

I feel the same way, I support some Democrats but as a whole they don't embody what I want in a political party.

Whether or not it is part of a healthy marriage, sex without the intention of creating offspring is recreational. We do not need sex to survive.it's not essential to our life. And to be clear, I do not think male enhancement drugs should be covered either. I am not saying that anyone should stop having sex, I am saying that they should stop making other people stop paying for it. As far as I'm concerned, everyone should buy their own birth control and/or Viagra and stop asking employers to subsidize their good time.
Such a self serving statement. I pay taxes for the BETTERMENT of society. I don't pay them because I expect 100% return on them later. I'm guessing you don't have school aged children, and if you do then I'm going to ask that you send me enough money to pay for my school taxes because guess what, I don't have any children and yet I have to pay property taxes to cover their education. Do I whine about it? No, because I'm actually a BIG PICTURE thinker, do I want a society full of adults that aren't properly educated? I know that's a tricky question given that I live in Texas, but hopefully we'll get enough people to vote out these groups that believe in teaching creationism in the classroom.......
