The Samsung proprietary home page 'combined' widget where you can have any number of their customized widgets reside is a nice concept. Problem is their offerings for it are not that useful (IMHO). Got me to thinking. Couldn't a developer come up with a design for a widget 'frame' (just an empty frame). The frame would accept any apps' widgets for placement within that frame. Then the frame could be resized and widgets within the frame could be resized along with it to whatever the user would want. This would allow the frame widget to work on any Android brand including the Samsung tablets, just like the proprietary widget Samsung has now. Once locked (if that is the proper term) the frame with all widgets inside would move as together or fill an entire screen if desired. Thoughts?
