try setting the cache size to 4092, should bring better read speeds. I'd get between 30-40mbps+ with a class 4 on that setting.

So it seems like updating to the very latest is worth it, although I could try that kernal on CleanROM2.3 ICS and we can see if there's an appreciable difference.

I'll try resetting SD Booster to 4092 and see if there is an improvement.

I did a lot of bench marking, and 3452 seems to be the best for my system haha. Now to dial in the CPU. Performance governor seemed to give bad results, ondemand works well enough. Setting both min and max to the same clock drastically lowered my score.

I think I'm having issues here, but setCPU is reading a 1712mhz clock speed and Antutu sees the 1836mhz. Either way, here's the results:

The last two, I tried to do some cross-platform benchmarking. This was to show the Rezounds superiority over the iPhone 4S, so both are browser benchmarking tests using the Chrome browser instead of the stock browser.

The first two are iPhone scores.

And the following were done on my phone:

It's tough to see, but my overall score for the above picture (sunspider javascript benchmark) is 2126.5ms
It beats the iPhone 4S and just barely the Galaxy Tab

And you can see it surpasses the iPhone by over 8,000 points in the browsermark test.

buckfivr: I wonder why your database I/O is ~100 points higher than mine.

I don't know why. I'm not really a tech guy. I'm just a user. Anyways I found an ran the SunSpider Javascript Benchmark using the stock browser and I score 1813 and 1816. I am going to try other browsers to see if one scores better than that.

wow. My stock browser wasn't anywhere near that. Definitely seeming like there are plenty of performance improvements in your version of CleanROM.

I ran multiple tests on my Rezound using SunSpider Javascript Benchmark to compare the performance of the most popular browsers. The goal was to determine the quickest browser for my phone. The scores are as follows from best to worst (lower numbers are better):

Firefox 1705
Stock 1801
Chrome beta 2090
Dolphin HD 2192
Opera Mobile 2523
Opera Mini Stalled on 3 attempts

I ran each test at least 3 times per browser and the scores posted are the best for each browser

BTW - For comparision iPhone 4S with iOS5 2222
Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0 1983

I tried the Browsermark test with Firefox and Stock browsers since they tested the best with SunSpider

Foxfire 63687
Stock 93380

I guess I'll stick with the Stock browser. It was almost equal to Firefox on the SunSpider Benchmark, but blows Firefox away on the Browsermark test.
