Need help with command prompt

Trying to install video fix kernel for the venom rom. I'm not real versed when it comes to the command prompt. I downloaded the file, put the boot img in androidsdk>platform-tools, where fast boot and other files are. I need the EXACT path to get to it.


Well after about 300 different combinations ,I think I got it,heheh

If you drag your file from windows into your command line, it will put the entire path in there for you, hopefully that will help in the future.

Edit: It also works to find the path for your fastboot folder, if it's not on the root of the c drive. Type in cd (then drag your fastboot folder) it will populate. It carries some quotes you have to remove, but works well if your not sure.

I've been moving so I haven't been keeping up with threads. I just saw this. That is a good tip and I will definitely try it next time
