Newer Version of Galaxy S II/Nexus Prime?

not sure how reliable the source is, but they say Samsung is going to review a newer version of the Galaxy S II at IFA that looks similar to the rumored Nexus Prime specs. I'm hoping it's true.

Yea, probably a slightly updated GSII. Could be possible it'll be similar to the Nexus Prime. It'll kinda be the middle ground between the GSII and the NP.

So I am assuming that will be announced on what?, the 11th?

But as of now, lets say the Galaxy S2 comes out in Oct for Tmo, and the Nexus Prime comes out Nov to Jan (which would you suspect), what one would you get

I am a big spec guy, dont get me wrong. And "Pure" gets updates faster and longerr. BUT, these new Overlays, Sense 3.0 and Touchwiz are nice

Granted in my mt4g ROMS I did get bored with Sense. main difference was lock screen lOl

At least with Touchwiz u get new icons without having to retheme it

And whats the difference in 4.52 and a 4.65" screen ...the main difference is ice cream right

WVGA display? That seems like a step back from the already announced GS2 HD. This seems exactly like the GS2 LTE that South Korea is already rocking. Either way this definitely isn't the Prime.
