    Thought I'd through this in here in case anyone wants the reference. I highlighted versions that took us to a new name in blue, however the API Level is what really matters. Note: The last row is a rumor. Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the first two were called Alpha and Beta respectively, although I'd also heard that 1.0 was called "R2D2" and version 2 was "Birthday". I'd have to assume to stay with the alphabetic theme that R2 was Artoo like in some of the Star Wars novels, but every since Cupcake they've all been desserts.

    Nice compilation! Also, versions 1.0 and 1.1 were Astro and Bender, respectively. Google originally opted for robot names but switched to desserts for 1.5 in order to avoid copyright infringement issues.
