Is this official? not at all.
This is rumor, treat it as such.

There is one device codenamed ‘Kinzie’ which packs a 4.6-inch 2560 x 1440 display with an amazing 640 ppi, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor

And one device codenamed 'Clark’ with a 5.25-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel display with 560 ppi and a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset.

Would be interesting if the larger device is indeed running the 808 and not the 810 and vice versa.

That being said the g4 does seem to fly with the 808.

As a droid turbo user one feature I hope they improve on with the next gen droid is a camera that rivals the s6, g4, and iPhone 6

I think it could also be a successor to the moto x, g, or e

I like the idea of the 808. I also like the 5.2 inch screen, its the sweet spot.

Give it a good camera and stay with the larger battery and it might be worthy to be called a successor.

Sounds good to me, but not good enough to trade in my turbo. The sales rep at best buy said it best, " new phone technology is only worth paying for 18-24 months after your last phone purchase, sooner than that and your wasting your money" and I agree.

I would be all over the smaller phone, but after Turbo, I am reluctant to purchase a carrier branded machine.

When you purchase a new phone is really a personal decision. But I'm hoping that the rumors of a smaller Nexus phone are true because it's obvious to me that those are the only phones to get timely updates.

I'm actually pretty happy we don't have the 808 or 810. I've heard a lot of overheating problems. Plus I've never had the phone lag (unless an app was misbehaving). I think that our quad core is plenty enough. The way I see it is thatcohones are becoming like computers. The new Ines are so powerful that you don't need to replace them every year. The technology isn't getting THAT much better. My laptop is 2 years old and it is definetly up to par with current technology in laptops.

I thought the 808 was being used because the 810 had heating issues, i could be wrong.

And i def agree that it will take a lot to get me to trade my turbo. I traded it once for a note 4, then me and my daughter traded so she could have the 4. The only two phones i really watch for to see if i want them is the motorola droid series and the note series. I love both but im happy i got my turbo back lol.

I dont mind carrier branded devices, sometimes i feel like i am the only one on the forums that has never had an issue with verizon. Ive never had a complaint about them
