What I'm getting from Blass' information is that unlike last year where we had the Moto X Play, Moto X Style, and Moto X Force, we're only getting a Moto Z Play and Moto Z Style and that the next DROID TURBO is essentially the "Moto Z Style DROID Edition" since the rumored specs for the Moto Z Style, codenamed Vector Thin, mention the SHATTERSHIELD display.

If that is the case, the new Droid Turbo 3, or whatever it will be called, will only have a 2600 mah battery. That is atrocious.

But how would the battery module work? It's not as though the battery is replaceable, right?

I would be very surprised if they go backwards on the battery size for the Turbo.

The Turbo to the Turbo 2 went backwards from 3900 mah to 3760 mah. Rumor has it this one could be 2600 mah, but have an option for a battery module.

The Moto Z Force DROID Edition is the "Turbo 3".

They sure are getting large and expensive. $790 for the phone and the battery mod, $850 with tax. is kinda crazy. I thought $600 was bad enough in years past. Even overly expensive Apple doesn't charge that kind of money for their phones.
