broken sim pins

I was hoping to be able to use my captivate glide again, and bought a sim card adapter, but it broke some of the sim pins. I saw this post in the galaxy S3 forum - http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-galaxy-s-iii/286879-sim-card-slot.html, and got my hopes up that I may be able to replace it myself. The replacement part is currently out of stock at the linked shop, but am wondering if anyone here has replaced this part.

Last year I upgraded to an S4 and rooted my glide in hopes of being able to use it again, but the new mini sim threw those plans out the door, but have been using it for another phone line--until I broke the pins attempting to use an adapter. Would really like it fixed. Any help here?????

Well, I'll say rather than trying to do this yourself I'll say go to the support centre because workers their are skilled I'll don't prefer doing this if you are not skilled because you might ended up in damaging some other things.
