Why don't events entered in S Planner show up in Outlook?

Events entered in S Planner do not show up in Outlook

I have a Samsung Galaxy A3, and use the S Planner calendar. I sync this with my work e-mail and calendar via Exchange ActiveSync. This works fine -- except calendar items that I have entered directly into S Planner do not show up on my calendar in Outlook. The other way it works fine, i.e. events entered in Outlook show up in S Planner after syncing. I have looked at all kinds of settings and everything looks right, and the syncing obviously works. So why don't S Planner events get synced into Outlook?
