Google Play works with public hot spots & 4G but stopped working with home wifi, why?

Hi,

Help please. I have a Samsung A3 with Android version 6.0.1. I had no problems accessing Google Play Store using my home wifi until about a week ago, when I keep getting time out. If I connect to a public hotspot or use my 4G connection wifi Google Play works fine. Any ideas how to sort this out?

Try going to your router's settings using your desktop browser (see your router manual to learn how), and try disabling IPv6. Google servers sometimes have issues with IPv6 for unclear reasons.
