Problem turning screen back on after screen timeout

Hello !

I recently did a factory reset on my A3 (2016) and since then I am facing an odd behaviour.

When you press the home button right after the screen turn itself off, you should normaly go back to the app you were using. But since the reset, when I press the home button right after the screen turn itself off, my phone goes back to the home screen and I have to switch back to the app I was using. Kind of annoying.

Any idea why this is happening ? Thanks a lot.

Yes, thank you, the power button does exactly what the home button was doing before the reset.

Any idea why my home button is behaving differently now ?

It's hard for me to comment on what's normal for a Samsung device, since I don't have one to test. I assume you didn't get any recent system updates, correct? Does this persist in Safe Mode? https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...e-safe-mode-on-my-galaxy-a3%2F&token=BPTu0HfZ
