How can I get my phone to read contacts names instead of ring sound?

I know it is possible. But I can't the figure out how. Connected to my U8 watch, it started reading the contacts names like this: YOU RECEIVED A NEW TEXT MESSAGE FROM RICK. I received few texts in 10 minutes and that setting disappeared. I didn't programmed it either... I don't know where this came from.
Their is no such setting in my watch. So it have nothing to do with it. But it did interact with the phone's and happened by itself. But it's not doing it anymore.
And no special apps in the phone. I just did a factory reset a day or two before it happens. I have an old samsung galaxy ace powered by android.
Any idea anyone?

Welcome to Android Central! Try opening the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings, and look for a Caller ID Readout option. If you can't find one, try the main System Settings, go to Language & Input>Text-to-Speech, and turn on Driving Mode, if it's available.
