PNG Images Appear Blurry on Gallery
Hello,
A few weeks after updating to Android 5.0.2, my Samsung Galaxy Alpha's gallery app has suddenly started displaying PNG photos as blurry and pixelated photos. I've tried clearing the cache and app data of the gallery, and have even deleted the .thumbnails folder in the DCIM folder and rebooted my phone, but still no luck. I've also tried deleting some apps to make sure I had enough memory, and my phone still has 30% of its memory left. I'm not exactly sure what's going on here, but I really do hope there's a solution to this. Half of my photos are in PNG. What's weird is that my screenshots are also in PNG, however they look crisp - it seems as though imported/downloaded PNG images appear blurry.
